5 days a week of meals for 11 months a year
190 meals daily
152 children, young people, and tutors who are fed

The Fundación Zuá considers it essential to ensure the nutrition of the 120 children and young people it serves daily. In addition to providing balanced meals, it works on the nutritional education of the children and the training of single mothers to improve eating habits at home.
The relationship between malnutrition, poverty, and child development is clear: without proper nutrition, children cannot perform at school or benefit from the other programs offered by the Foundation.
Therefore, the approach goes beyond daily meals, including hygiene, food handling safety, and the active participation of mothers in meal preparation.
