Our Strategy
The Zuá Foundation believes that education is the key tool to break the cycle of poverty and violence that affects many communities in Colombia. Through the Let’s Learn Workshops program, educational support is provided to children and young people, helping them strengthen their confidence and academic skills so they can dream of a future full of opportunities.
A Personalized Learning Method
To ensure effective learning, the Let’s Learn Workshops use an approach tailored to each student’s needs. Through small groups and tutor support, key areas such as literacy, math, English, and arts are reinforced.
Additionally, the use of technological platforms allows each child to progress at their own pace, receive immediate feedback, and develop autonomy in their learning process.
Transformation Through Education
Beyond academic learning, the Foundation aims to spark children’s interest and curiosity for knowledge. By providing books, digital materials, and creative strategies, it promotes reading habits and a spirit of inquiry.
Furthermore, the young beneficiaries who manage to enter university act as tutors, creating a chain of support that strengthens the community and brings lasting impact to many families’ lives.
Tutors, the Heart of the Program
None of this would be possible without the dedication of the tutors, most of whom are university and pre-university students who are themselves beneficiaries of the Foundation. Through their commitment and knowledge, they not only guide the learning process but also become role models for the children.
